Profile/Overview: Manufacturer of Milestone Windows

Objective/Challenge: To increase production without adding plant space

Products Used: SDL in .040 depth - GBG in 11/16 contour

Solution: Grid orders placed by Florida Extruders are produced and packaged in a required sequence matching Milestone's production line sequence. When the Decralite package arrives at the Milestone plant, they are delivered to the appropriate station along the production line where the grids are installed onto or into the window. As a window comes down the production line, its matching grid is next out of the package. The Decralite precision grid is installed or applied and the window continues down the line.

Added Benefits: Florida Extruders is now able to offer a wider variety of "custom" styles and shapes to their customers without the added cost of engineering and labor.
